Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, schedule, organize, and support employees and customers for Heritage Industries KOS Service Operations.

  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to building, developing, and maintaining a high-performance team, performance management, service scheduling, including field and fleet service, job tracking, managing resources, KPI management, and participation in Caterpillar Process Improvement.

  • Managing budgets and ensuring that jobs are on completed within the required time frame and scope of work.

  • Responsible for communication with customers and providing excellent customer service.

  • Opening and closing work orders, maintaining timecards, managing DOT requirements for employees.

  • Managing overtime

  • Responsible for making sure employees complete all assigned training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an excellent safety record. Safety will be this role’s top priority with a commitment to use the TRACK Safety Program.

  • Previous experience within the work truck industry, automotive, and/or truck equipment service and repairs.

  • Experience with large and small engine repair, welders, wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics, truck mounted cranes, transmissions, suspensions and brakes on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles. Good interpersonal skills interacting with customers in person, via phone, e-mail, etc.

  • Must work well in a team environment and be willing to assist others.

  • Positive, open-minded attitude, willing to think outside of the box and present new ideas to achieve the product support objectives.

  • Attention to detail with good time management and follow up skills.

  • Understands the importance of equipment availability to our customers.

  • Will work closely with service/mine management to develop solutions to any customer concerns in a timely manner.

  • Willingness to respond to after-hour emergency calls and customer needs.

  • Manage employee schedules to ensure all time commitments to customers are satisfied.

  • Must be able to interact well with direct reports, having the desire and ability to develop employees.

  • Understands problem ownership: When given a problem will take ownership of it and determine the best solution to the problem.

  • Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience with operational leadership or management.

  • ASE certifications

  • SAP experience
